The Houston native's dream took root early when she discovered her love for singing at age 10. By 2002, she was performing at Fan Fair and received a nomination for Female Rising Star at the Tejano Music Awards. Just five years later, at 15, she established her first band, Sangre Latina, making a significant impact on Houston’s Tejano scene.

After stepping away from music for several years, Ruiz returned in 2023 with a remarkable performance at Tejano SuperJam, sharing the stage with legends such as Jay Perez, Ram Herrera, Bobby Pulido, and Michael Salgado. She has also performed with Jesse Turner of Grupo Siggno, further solidifying her status among Tejano’s elite.
